Chad Tindall - Owner and Operator for Brew State Softball
Chad will serve as Lead Hitting Instructor for the softball program. He brings a wealth of knowledge to the players when it comes to hitting. Chad also has and will continue to help with starting and growing the program in the best way possible. Without Chad, Brew State Softball Academy would not be in existence, and we are fortunate to have him work with our softball athletes.
Ryan Michael - Program Director
Ryan brings to Brew State over eight years of coaching experience between baseball & softball, including five years in softball. Prior to coaching, Ryan played baseball at Wisconsin Lutheran College where he was a three-year starter. Ryan holds the third highest career fielding percentage in program history & the highest among catchers. He began his coaching career at Shorewood High School where he served as a Head JV Baseball Coach for 3 years & Assistant Varsity Baseball Coach for one of those years. Ryan then got into softball where he was an Assistant Softball Coach at the 14U level for Green Bay
Southwest Softball for a year where he also assisted in offseason workouts for hitting, fielding, catching, & strength & conditioning.
After that, he has served as a Varsity Assistant Softball Coach at Brookfield East High School for three years. At Brookfield East, he oversees hitting & assists with catching & strategy. With the coaching staff Ryan has been a part of, the program has gone from winning a couple games per season to being .500 for the first time in a decade & ranking well in most offensive categories. Ryan, for two years now, is alsoa Secretary on the Board for the Brookfield Stars. There, he has conducted private hitting & catching lessons & has assisted in pitching & catching workouts in the past.
In his debut at Brew State, Ryan will serve as the Softball Program Director. He will lead the program in developing players, creating & implementing programming, coaching a team, & growing the program. Ryan is committed to the program & we appreciate his efforts. He looks forward to seeing what the program can become.
Megan Belongia – Associate Softball Program Director
Megan has seven years of experience coaching youth softball tournament teams including six years as a Head Coach. Her coaching stops have included Green Bay Southwest, Green Bay Tundra, and the Brookfield Stars. She has also served as an Assistant JV Softball Coach with Brookfield East High School for one year. Megan excels at developing all players as hitters, specifically with slap hitting, as well as infielders and outfielders. She has also worked closely with pitchers at younger ages that have gone onto succeed both in the present working with her and later in their careers.
Prior to coaching, Megan played college softball for four years at Wisconsin Lutheran College. In youth, she played for several different tournament teams, one of which played in a Little League World Series tournament in Pigeon Forge, TN. Megan recalls the highlight of her softball career was playing on a team that represented the USA in the Dominican Republic where they played against their National and Junior National team.
Megan will serve as Associate Softball Program Director where she will coach a team, help develop all players in various facets of the game and build the program into something special. We are thrilled to have Megan aboard and she is excited to start working with the players.
Rebecca Foster - Coaching & Pitching Instructor
Rebecca is joining Brew State as a Coach & Pitching Instructor. She arrives having previously assisted in coaching a team at both Green Bay Southwest for a year and the Brookfield Stars for two years. Prior to coaching, she played at Wisconsin Lutheran College as a pitcher and outfielder. She made multiple starts in both the circle and in the outfield. She has developed players in all facets of the game, primarily pitchers.
At Brew State, Rebecca will assist in coaching a team and serve as a Pitching Instructor. She will continue to develop players and help them reach their full potential. She will work with pitchers of all ages to help them grow at a position, she herself, has expertise and knowledge in. We are fortunate to have Rebecca in the program.
Katie Grunert - Pitching Instructor
Katie is joining Brew State to work with the pitchers in small group practices. In her playing career, Katie was very successful in high school as a player and specifically as a pitcher at Wisconsin Lutheran High School. She received an athletic scholarship and attended Division I Eastern Illinois University for a year and was on the softball team appearing in a handful of games. After that, she transferred to Division II Maryville University – St. Louis. There, she was on the softball team & pitched her sophomore and junior seasons. Katie also coached at Brookfield East High School for one fall
season where she worked closely with pitchers who immediately found success in games after a short time in working with her. Katie is excited to share her knowledge of pitching with players of all ages. When available, she looks
forward to forming a connection with the players both in a one-on-one and small group setting. We are
fortunate to have Katie’s expertise and can’t wait to see how she impacts the pitchers in the program.
